Yesterday we left off setting the stage for an interesting trip through the Bible.  Let’s get to it.  Disjointed ramblings or thought-provoking pearls?  The journey of understanding the confusing world we live in, discovering yourself, your relationship to God and Jesus (if you want one) starts with the willingness to begin.

Wherever we look, may we be blessed with finding meaning.

(To make reading flow I took out all references. However, they appear with Book, chapter, and verse at the end. Each paragraph is from a separate Book.)

These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field: for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus said the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What has thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entry.

And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps.  There was not the like made in any kingdom.

Cindy Rose
Cindy A. Rose began writing for the Tentacle in 2011 trying to raise awareness over things happening within Frederick County Public Schools. She began keeping a close watch on FCPS when she learned there were not enough air conditioned buses for special needs children during the hot Maryland summers. The Tentacle offered her a place to share her concerns with her community when local newspapers didn’t always. Cindy had the opportunity to buy the Tentacle from creator/owner John W. Ashbury in 2019, so she did. She believed then, as she believes now, our communities, friends and neighbors have important things to say that needs to be shared with those living around them. Large corporate news companies don’t always share in those passions and concerns. The Tentacle is a local news, commentary and community website run by citizens, for citizens. Its success depends on your participation.
