In public education, every child needs to be treated with dignity and respect. Every child needs to be treated the same. No child needs to be indoctrinated into believing they are seen as lesser than their peers because of the color of their skin.
At least that’s what we used to believe. Now it’s not only acceptable to call whites racists, it’s taught and encouraged in our local classrooms.
Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) is using the Black Lives Matter 2020 summer of destruction as an excuse and conduit to get Critical Race Theory and antiracist curriculum and lessons into our children’s classrooms.
Schools all across America are teaching that even babies can be born racist as described in a July 2016 Daily Mail article.
In December of 2020 United We Stand News published an article School Forces Students to Apologize for Being White.
On February 24, 2021 Chrsitopher Rufo wrote a piece Buffalo students told ‘all white people play a part in perpetuating systemic racism.’
To quote Mr. Rufo, “…critical race theory training sessions in public agencies have pushed a deeply ideological agenda that includes reducing people to a racial essence, segregating them, and judging them by their group identity rather than their individual merit.”
In his March 17, 2021 article Subversive Education, Mr. Rufo wrote: “At the first session, “Whiteness in Ed Spaces,” school administrators provided two handouts on the “norms of whiteness.” These documents claimed that “(white) cultural values” include “denial,” “fear,” “blame,” “control,” “punishment,” “scarcity,” and “one-dimensional thinking.” According to notes from the session, the teachers argued that “whiteness perpetuates the system” of injustice and that the district’s “whitewashed curriculum” was “doing real harm to our students and educators.” The group encouraged white teachers to “challenge the dominant ideology” of whiteness and “disrupt” white culture in the classroom through a series of “transformational interventions.” The article went on to say that “Parents, according to the teachers, should be considered an impediment to social justice.”And to “ignore parental concerns and push the ideology of antiracism directly to students.”
Mr. Rufo is on the front lines fighting against teaching critical race theory in our public schools. I recommend you follow him and stay informed. Don’t just be informed, be actively engaged in pushing back by asking teachers, principals and board of education members if and how this is being taught to your child. If you don’t like what you hear, inform the community and demand your child/ren be kept out of any lesson containing antiracist teaching.
What are FCPS teachers teaching the students?
We cannot allow our neighborhoods to move backwards. Despite what our children are being taught we are NOT a racist country or county with racists communities.
FCPS is teaching white children they are born racist, and America was built on white supremacy. NEVER forget Councilman/FCPS School teacher and now candidate for County Executive’s public proclamation she is a “racist” with “white privilege” (video here). Of course, she isn’t. She’s a propagandist and tool of the Socialist Democrat party using her positions as both teacher and councilman to divide our communities.
Critical Race Theory’s objective is to return us to a segregated America. A segregated America is a weak America.
The Socialists who have taken over the Democrat party want us to be enemies. FCPS is assisting this movement by having our children focus on the problems of the past. While we are fighting battles already won, they can continue over-taxing us, over-regulating us, forcing us into poverty as they blame it on race and keep our children’s eyes focused there.
We cannot allow our children to grow up in their false version of America. Our children need to know it’s politicians through legacy media and corporate oligarchs abusing their power who are feeding the current dark mood that is permeating our society right now. They are threatening to destroy the fabric of “America” and every good thing we have stood and fought for.
Ask yourself: When was the last time you met a racist? Now ask yourself, when was the last time you felt abused by Government?
