Ham and Swiss Mac and Cheese

It’s New Year’s Day so you might not feel like making a big fuss over dinner tonight.  Here’s a fast and delicious meal you can prepare using some of your left-over Christmas ham.  Feel free to add ingredients you like.  Cooking is science, you should experiment.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 oz) egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups cubed, fully cooked ham
  • 1 ½ shredded Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 can (10 ¾ oz) undiluted condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 chopped onion

Topping:

½ sleeve crushed Ritz (or similar) crackers

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and pour into a 13×9 baking dish.  Top with crackers.  Place in preheated 350 ⁰ oven and bake for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
