Last week, we saw an atrocious incident take place when a black bear was killed out-of-season in the Frederick Watershed. Once again, hunters are demonized as “psychopaths,” like they were in social media comments, blamed for the warrantless death of this innocent animal.
Despite what some may think, my mission has not been to burn down the Republican Party. In fact, it is quite the opposite. There are very few absolutes in this world, and not every Republican official or candidate has absolute good intentions and motivations.
For years, there has been a drawn out, bitter struggle between factions on the Frederick County Republican Central Committee (FCRCC). Enter Barrie Ciliberti, appointed to his Maryland Delegate position in early 2015 after the FCRCC, then “chaired” by Joeylynn Hough, pushed him through the selection process.
I just did time on the inside – of the Republican Party that is. Two years ago, I was appointed a member of the Frederick County Republican Central Committee (FCRCC). It doesn’t seem that long a period, but honestly, the experience taught me more about politics than my B.A. in Political Science degree ever did.
