Do Yourself A Favor! Educate Yourself!
Michael Barnes
More and more I am seeing something that doesn't seem to be a right-wing mantra, but a repetitive noise, like a stuck record needle, coming from the left side of the political aisle.

Medical Marijuana Revisited - Part 2
Michael Barnes
Earlier during this past legislative session, I sent an email to District 3 State Senator Alex Mooney asking him to support the Darrell Putman Compassionate Use Act when it came up for the floor vote.

Medical Marijuana Revisited - Part 1
Michael Barnes
Is it possible that the Free(?)State is becoming more compassionate and understanding of those who choose alternative methods of pain control during their final days of life?

The Official Mike Barnes List of Candidate Endorsements

For Governor: Spear Lancaster, the Libertarian candidate. This should be a no-brainer

Press Should Inform Voters, Not Take Sides
Michael Barnes
I am baffled, confused and perplexed at the press lately. Perhaps a better
feeling is one of disappointment.

My Wish List
Michael Barnes

Watershed, it is also from aquifers that also supply water to many people on
wells.

Like Mother, Like Son
Michael Barnes
I know we have heard plenty on this subject, but I still haven't voiced my opinion, so the issue can't be
considered dead quite yet.

There Is Another Choice For Governor
Michael Barnes
I have seen some columns and news articles lately that have made some very interesting points about the fragile and uncertain lead Kathleen Kennedy Townsend has over Robert Ehrlich, as well as articles and columns extolling the value of electing Ms. Townsend over Mr. Ehrlich.

Do We Require A Bill of NO Rights?
Michael Barnes
Those of us with Internet access and email for even the shortest of time have undoubtedly been emailed the following list. This has been attributed from everyone from radio show hosts to state legislators to members of Congress. Truth is, I have no idea who originally came up with this list, but I enjoy it immensely and wish that this were part of the curriculum of all schools, public and private.

The Governor Hasn’t Thought Up These Taxes - Yet
Michael Barnes
The Anti-Tobacco Nazi's in Annapolis are at it again! Taxes on cigarettes may soon skyrocket another 70 cents! As long as Annapolis lawmakers and our governor are at it, we might as well add a few more tax increases to punish groups of people within the "Free" State.
